YOU MUST READ THIS IF YOU ARE MY FRIEND
Yesterday evening I went to a function which I thought was my friend's sister's birthday at a condo near Tiong Bahru MRT. There was free food and drinks. Then, my friend said we're gonna play a game. There were lotsa people from Myanmar, China, Indon and even from Denmark. So, I thought his sister is so friendly that lotsa friends came and played games.
First we played icebreaking games to remember the name. I'm not wrong there were Sam, WaiMe, Yunna, CN, Mike, Z, Jacky, Ben, Simon, Chan, Zaw, me, Tommy, Devin, Ronan, Winnie, Martin, Michael, Pinky, Tweety, Sue, Thandar & Mee Lay. Yeah! i still remember. haha... There were lotsa eye candies too!
Most interesting part came when we played Cash Flow Game later. It's quite fun and interesting to try to come out from Rat Race. As a business students, the game is quite helpful for us to apply for knowledge. My profession was a doctor and my salary was the highest among us but my expenses are also super high. The main objective was to make our current asset or what they call passive income more than current liabilities or monthly expenses. i was about to win about got downxized twice and tends out to be the poorest at the end.
Then, they showed us the talk by the inventor of this game and debriefed us about what we learnt there by keeping on emphasizing that taking a risk is the best way to go out of the circle of rat race. That is the what we've done in that party.
I went back home with so many puzzles in my mind.
1) Why do they invite so many people whom the hosts don't know?
2) Why are they so hospitable by serving free food and arranging cash flow games?
(it's quite common to play at a party. but isn't it weird that they purposely arrange this game to play with unknown people while they can just play other games if the main purpose of the game is to make friendship?)
3) How did a girl know me very personally although I don't know her at all? She asked if I have studied in Japan and if I'm Shan, one ethic group in Myanmar, cos she saw me in the costume. Well, one possibility is she reads my friendster profile, but then how can she associate me with my profile cos I just had my hair cut recently and I was very different last night from the pictures I posted in friendster.
4) Why did the main organizer (not the host, but the host's friend who's more influential) keep on brainwashing us to get passive income? Somemore, except he and the other co-organizer, the rest are all students with no income.
5) After the game, why did those who invited us or those who are part of organizing committee talk to us privately at different corners for so long? What were they talking privately at such kinda networking session?
The answer is very simple!
They are doing Multi-level Marketing or Network Marketing, which I found out from my other friend. Their strategy is to make our greediness for money roused in us first. Once we can't help being rich by all means, they will act to help us by giving us so-called the greatest opportunity in Singapore (i doubt if it were true, we would be even richer than Lee Kuan Yew). So, how can we be rich? Very simple! Buy their product for more than S$15,000 which actually costs less than a thousand or maybe even worthless. So, what're the benefits we can get? If we can get a certain amount of people to do the same way as us (or in short, if we can lie people), we will get our principal and then profits from then on. Quite interesting, right?
But how can we get those amount of money? well, don't worry they'll tell you how you can borrow from the bank or how you can even lie your family to get the money. Very smart people sia! But, can they guarantee the payback period? If this job is that much promising, why don't they lend us money (maybe with same interest as bank)? Well, in the first place, if they tell us not to miss the opportunity, why do they share us this opportunity while they can just grab this so-called opportunity by themselves without giving it to anyone? Since they don't keep it for themselves, can we say this is the best opportunity or are they that much altruistic by letting the whole world become rich? If so, why don't they just sell those stupid useless product for very low price or just give them away?
Anyway, stupid people will be easily deceived and join them. Oops, am i saying that those who are already doing MLM are stupid? haha... maybe or maybe not. But, one thing is that if they join toastmaster or debating, they'll surely win or they can be psychologist who can induce you to do certain thing that u might not even think of. Last but not the least, they can be the most creative marketer if they use appropriately in business their creative way of lying people and their own family.
So, all my friends.... PLS LOOK OUT WHEN YOU ARE SUBCONSICOUSLY PROVOKED BY THEM TO BECOME RICH AND PERSUADED TO JOIN THEM!
You might have seen in this before "Once a saint, always a saint." But, don't forget your family, friends and everyone will still remember that "Once a liar, always a liar." So, choose urself whether u wanna be a liar and hated by all!
