Busy weekends

I took my Japanese Basic 2 exam. Ichiban kantan desu yo! Bought two japanese books from Kinokuniya. Hope I'll read them. After that shopping with one old friend at Orchard & Bugis Village. Couldn't find nice J-fashion shops. Saw one jacket in Topshop, which is very Jappy but sells at 99 bucks! :( Anyone know where to shop Jap clothes?

Today is my J-day again. Went to Beppu Ramen Restaurant @ China Sq with Kane, Weili & Thor. Don't really like it. I should have tried Beppu Ramen (chef's rec) since I'm not going to APU. After lunch, they brought us to Kino to check "How to cook J-food with 100 yen" book. Actually, cooking is not that difficult. I don't know why they are so kan cheong. I didn't cook before I came to s'pore. I didn't even have to wash my own plates at home but once I started living alone, cooking's become just a piece of cake. In the afternoon, joined by Miwa & Michelle, we went to a Japanese Ktv called Cash Studio @ Apollo Centre in Clarke Quay. Very embarassed! I could sing only 2 to 3 Jap songs. The rest are super good as in being able to sing in Japanese. I was impressed by Miwa's "Everything", "Because of You" & "A Moment Like This" and Cai Cun Jia's "Accompany me to watch sun rise" (Jap version). Her voice is super high especially in "B'cos of U" & "Everything". Dinner was at the Soup Spoon @ Raffles City Market Place (not Jap food anymore haha... i'm kinda sick of Jap food now.) The soup was very nice but not filling :(

Targets b4 going to Japan:

• To master at least one Jap song per week. (master=to be able to sing well even without Hiragana for some Kanji)
• To practice drinking. (my drinking sucks)
• To achieve JLPT 3 level b4 March (super ambitious? anyway, I'm starting my Intermediate 1 on this monday, concurrently with Basic 3. Will officially finish Int 1 by end of Jan. But must learn Int 2 by myself by end of Jan too and self-study Int 3 in Feb so that I can directly go to JLPT 2 level courses in Rikkyo. After coming back, continue JLPT 1. Hmm.... impossible? I believe I can do it! Ganbatte!!!)
• To change my image (check out J-fashion suggested by Sandy :D)
• To save money to buy necessary stuffs. Checklist: 1) Spectacles 2) Watch 3) Shoes 4) Slippers 5) Bag 6) E-dictionary 7) Camera 8) iPod
