Yokohama & Spiderman

久しぶり
It's been such a long time that I wrote here. I was busy with exams last week and after that I became lazy to use blogspot. Somemore, the wireless access which we were tapping in was gone. I couldn't go online until my roommate sleeps cos the one and only network cable is too short for my table so I need to use my laptop on his table. It really sucks for internet addict like me. Anyway, less than 1 more month. I won't buy an extra network cable. If you wanna find me online, I'll be available from 12 midnight to 4 am. :(

Anyway, let's go back to my post (though it's more than 2month)

Yokohama BBQ (12 May Sat)
As agreed during Kamakura trip, the whole gang went to Yokohama Zoo for BBQ. This time Denny (Peggy's friend from Taiwan) brought his roommate (Kai Qing, the first "Cancer" guy in Alicia's life haha...)

Pic 1: At BBQ place in the zoo. It was not a successful BBQ cos no one was experienced though 2 Taiwanese guys claimed to be and led us. It's a bit weird to have BBQ for lunch haha.... but no choice, we need to go back to Tokyo.

Pic 2: Yokohama & us

One of the largest cities in Japan, Yokohama, is very beautiful. I like it more than Tokyo cos all the buildings are new and the designs are really nice. I recommend this place to architects. We went to Queen's Square and the bay. This pic was taken on the way. I like the what-I-call-Watermelon-building at the right down corner of the pic.

Pic 6: Night View of Yokohama. We took Ferris Wheel to see the night view. It's really awesome and the lights are really nice. I'll go to Yokohama again next week or on first week of August cos we didn't have a chance to go to Chinatown and other places.

Spider-man at Roppongi (13 May Sun)
I watched a movie for the first time in Japan. I'm not really a fun of spiderman but my friend suggested to watch it at Roppongi, so I gave it a try. The usual price is 1800 yen but we got 500 yen discount for being foreigners and 300 yen for students. The theatre is very big, perhaps 2 or 3 times than Cineleisure. I am not sure whether the sound system was really nice or the audience was so silent that I could hear every details. Japanese audience are really weird. They don't laugh at the jokes from the movie. (By the way, there is Japanese subtitles so there is no language problems) I asked my friend and she also confirmed that Japanese are super duper silent during the show without evening laughing or giggling. In the end, only me and my friend laughed whenever there was a funny scene in the movie.

Pic 13: Left upper corner is still Roppongi. After movie we went to Ginza for dinner at a so-called Korean restaurant. It doesn't taste like Korean food at all cos Japanese changed it to match the local taste.

That week was fun but I had no time to review my Kanji though the exam was on the following Wednesday. As a result I failed B1 level whereas my Angmoh friend passed B3.
