Cosplay @ Harajuku
Sunday
I went to Harajuku with Junkai, Alessandra (Italian American) & Sung (Korean Australian) to watch cosplay. The weather was normal (16'C) although Sat's temperature was very high (23'C). Japan's weather is very fickle. When I reached Tokyo on 4 April, it was snowing and raining (the first SUMMER SNOW within 19 years). Don't ask me how it can snow in summer. In Japan, impossible is nothing. Besides strange weather, there are so many strange people. Like today's cosplay, people dressed up in Anime's characters. Pic 1: girls in costume hanging out together.
Pic 2: A cool gang (reminded me of Superband competition)
Pic 3: Me & a cute girl. Don't know why my eyes are always close when I take picture. :p

Pic 4: 1 more cute girl & me
Pic 5: Me & a hot girl (besides Japanese, there were lots of whites participating in cosplay)
Pic 6: A hot girl posing in front of more cameras
Pic 7: Tradition Vs Modern (shocked to see ladies in Kimono in Harajuku area espeically this cosplay area. Japan is really colorful.)
After that we walked around the park and saw more young people performing. I think they are not baskers but amateurs who wanna get public attentions. Some are really good and entertaining.
Pic 8: A typical band where you can find everywhere
Pic 9: Who says singers must be hunky panky type? Btw, this is not a comedian but a singer in a group, wearing traditional costume. (very amusing)
Pic 10: Craziest group of the day
Pic 11: Not only was the band crazy but the fans were even worse.
Pic 12: Crazy singer with crazy fans (those bending fronts were trying to shake the hairs as part of their dance)
Pic 13: Is Elvis Presley still alive? Lately I saw a lot of people in that hairstyle.

Pic 14: Is it really Rock n Roll?
