Measles

Yeah, I have unexpected holidays again. Due to measles universities in Tokyo are closed for one week until next Sunday. Keio University had a few serious cases past few days but Rikkyo also announced after 5 period of yesterday lecture. One of my seminar classmates also got measles and couldn't come last Thurs. Now there are almost 20 students on campus who's got measles.

Regarding measles, there is one Burmese saying who goes "Got measles when old". In Myanmar, usually almost all kids have measles when young and once got it, it can never come again. And it's unusually to have measles after 20s. So this expression means someone does something which he/she shouldn't do at his age (too old to do).

Am I too old to get one? Anyone I had measles when I was young. So hopefully I can enjoy my holidays.
