I'm safe from earthquake and typhoon!!!
To those who are worried after hearing the earthquake news, I'm safe!!! The 6.8 scaled earthquake is in Nagano Prefecture which is the west coast of Japan and I'm on the east coast hehe... So far 5 people (in their 80s) died. Places surrounding Nagano, including Niigata which is Aki's hometown, were also affected by the earthquake in different scales - some 5, some 6 and some 4. Don't worry! Aki and his family are also safe.
Typhoon's just left Japan yesterday and earthquake came today. Sigh! A lot of flights and trains were cancelled during the typhoon. And now earthquake also made a lot of trains delayed or even stop from operating until now. Thinking again and again, Japan is quite dangerous in terms of natural disasters and accidents. One of my friends was stuck in Tokyo station yesterday cos his bullet train going to Hiroshima was delayed due to Typhoon. Some advice to those coming to Japan: Please give time allowance in Japan cos the train service can be interrupted anytime. In fact, I was late for my exam last Monday cos of a train accident. How unfortunate I was! I left home like 1 hour earlier on that day than my usual time. But, who knows some stupid people would commit suicide on that particular day? As a result, I have to take other route with longer time. In normal route, it took 15 mins from my station (Fujimidai) to school (Ikebukuro) in Seibu line. But, on that day, I had to change to Toe-Oedo line at Nerima and went to Shinjuku after one big round. Then, I had to take Yamanote from Shinjuku back to Ikebukuro. Perhaps, God doesn't want me to be ontime! I am really born to be late. :p
