Undestanding

Just dropping by here for a while to say "Hi" to everyone who checks update on my blog frequently. I'm too busy to blog nowadays. 

I used to check (am still used to) someone's blog everyday although it has been updated less and less frequent for the past 2 years. I asked the blog owner why the blog is not updated and now I understand the reason. Once we start working, there are not much happenings. Even if there is, I'm too tired to blog. 

When I was in school, I used to think my seniors who had graduated were very exaggerating when they said they envied me to still be in uni. Now I understand them.

Working life sucks! 

I used to hate SMU life cos I had to stay up late in school for projects and sometimes my watch struck 3 or 4 am on campus. I used to think I'd have a dedicated working time and sleeping time when I start working. But, who knows I might have to stay late in the company till 12 midnight or 2/3 am in the morning occasionally. I'm not working in the bank by the way. If I knew that earlier, I'd have chosen to be an investment banker and earn bigger bucks while the working hrs are almost the same. I used to think I wouldn't have to work that long. 

One of the reasons I didn't choose to study Investment banking is that I hate numbers. My logical side of the brain is not functioning properly. But, once I reach office, I have to make friends with numbers from 8.30am to 5.30pm (oh ...should be 8.30 am to 8.30 pm actually). Is it still different from those working in the bank? Perhaps, expect for dealing with laptops instead of stocks and expect for different formula on Excel, both working lives should be the same.
