Sorry, Back in Singapore!
I just arrived today. 4 month is too short. I felt like I left Singapore yesterday. Since I arrived at midnight, I didn't see many people yet but I dare say that I'll get a cultural shock again, looking at how people wear and their manners. When I saw people on the plane to Singapore, I felt like they just woke up or stay in their home cos they never dress up and make up. Then I saw one couple sitting in front of me. The look and apperance is typical Singaporeans'. After the dinner on the plane, the guy dropped his glass and it was broken in pieces on the floor. But, he didn't pick up rubbish nor clean the pieces of broken glasses on the floor. What made me more furious is that he acted like it wasn't his glass and he didn't do anything. What's more, he didn't even tell the flight attendants to clean it. I'm not saying that this is a typical Singaporean cos there are lots of good Singaporeans. But, I don't like this kind of "dun care" attitude. In Japan, if someone disturbs others, he or she won't stop saying "Sumimasen" or "Gomenasai" at least more than 10 times to apologize others even if it's not his/her fault. Taking action or not is another story but they can't help but apologize for no reasons. As I wrote in my Mixi, I was so used to saying Sumimasen that even in Thailand I can't stop my mouth saying it although I managed to switch my mode to English in other conversations.
Anyway, just wanna let my friends know that 'Sorry, I'm back in Singapore!'
