I happened to call home after 3 weeks but forgot to say "父の日でございます" to my dad! Happy Father's Day, dad! Thanks for growing me up well. When I was young, I always thought you didn't love me enough. I only knew you love me so much the night before I left for Singapore cos I'd never seen you cry before. But for you, I wouldn't have been that successful. You always forced me to study Mandarin even before primary 1 and spent so much sending me to really good and expensive English schools. Otherwise, my English would be as lousy as other Burmese and my Chinese would suck! No other fathers in this world would be as great as you. I still remember that you woke up so early to send me to my Chinese tuition at 6:00 am everyday. Whenever I have to take a very slow bus, I miss you so much. You drove me to school and fetched me up everyday even when I became a university student. Well, don't ask me how he worked. No matter how busy he was, he knew when to pick me up at my school or tuition or wherever I were. He knew all his children's schedule and hasn't been tired driving us personally until now. Ya.... that's my father! Dad, I love you!
