I don't really like music bands as most don't really showcase one powerful vocalist, but emphasize on harmony of the whole band. Their music may be very nice but I don't enjoy most of their vocal. But, I'm listening to a band now called Sodagreen or 蘇打綠. They are the best band of the year at No.19th Golden Melody Award in Taiwan this year and also nominated for Singapore Golden Melody Award this year in the best band category although I noticed their songs few months ago when they were promoting for their concert which took place last month. When I heard on the radio, I thought the lead female has a powerful voice and unique singing style. Later I found out that she or rather he is a male with super high pitch like Fei Yu Qing. He's quite girly like his voice but I am amazed by the way he uses his falsetto almost throughout the whole song. The song above is from the award winning album 無與倫比的美麗 at Taiwan GMA this year. People are saying that they'll be 2nd May Day as they also sing and write songs.

I tried one of their hit songs 小情歌 at ktv last week but I only managed to sing half of the song as my falsetto can't match his.
